THE JOE UDENYI SCHOLARSHIP IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE OFFICE OF THE SPECIAL ASSISTANT STUDENTS AFFAIRS TO THE GOVERNOR Calls on students of Cross River State intending to pursue their postgraduate studies Abroad to apply for JOE UDENYI Scholarship.
This Scholarship is established in honor of Master Warrant Officer Joseph Udenyi, who despite financial challenges, prioritized and pushed for quality education in his community. This scholarship reflects his values by supporting outstanding students aiming for international education.
This scholarship initiative aims to support exceptional students by offering a $500 for the purpose of mentorship leading to fully funded scholarships in Europe and America, under prestigious programs such as the Mastercard, Commonwealth, and DAAD scholarships.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the JOE UDENYI Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Academic Excellence: Must have graduated with a First-Class Honours
OR
A Second-Class Upper degree.
Essential Documents: Must possess a valid international passport, a degree certificate, and
an academic transcript at the time of application.
Recommendations: Must be able to provide at least two letters of recommendation from former lecturers who can vouch for the candidate\’s academic capabilities and character.
Mentorship Commitment: Must be available for a 2-month mentorship program, preparing them for fully funded Mastercard, Commonwealth, DAAD or other prestigious scholarships in Europe and America.
PROGRAM BENEFITS
Selected scholars will receive:
1. A $500 mentorship enrollment to prepare them for fully funded scholarships
2. Networking opportunities with industry leaders and past scholarship recipients
3. Support to submit application to at least 2 schools in America/Europe.
