Asuquo Ekpenyong inspect 8 roads on calabar metropolis facilitated by him
The Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Cross River South; Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr, on Friday 5th April, 2024, took out time to acknowledge the Supremacy and the Sovereignty of God as he began his day with an inspiration from God\’s Holy Word from Colossians 3:23-24. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving\”.
Following his intenary, Sen. Asuquo Ekpenyong attended the funeral service in honour of Late Obong Enobong Umanah to pay his last respects, and also to sympathize with his family.
Leaders from the National Assembly; Rt Hon. Joseph Bassey, Rt Hon. Bassey Akiba, together with Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, blessed the Funeral Service with their Great presence.
However in the Afternoon, Sen. Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr began his progress inspections of a few of the ongoing road project in Calabar Metropolis facilitated via his Amiable office.
Namely;
Adiabo, Off Tinapa Road,
Ikot Nkebre Layout,
Road 4 Federal Housing Estate,
King Duke Street,
Idang and adjoining streets,
Clerk Alley,
Eta Agbor Layout,
Edim Otop Street.
In his Speech, he stated that “It is my responsibility as the Senator of the Federal Republic and the Representative of the district to facilitate and lobby for Federal Government ministries, agencies and commissions to execute infrastructure and developmental projects in Cross River South to complement the outstanding efforts of the Governor Otu led State Government administration in infrastructure development in the overall interest of the people of my district.
