Asuquo Ekpenyong observed Iftar with the Muslim community.

Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong hosted a cross-section of leaders of the Muslim community in Cross River South as he joined them in their Iftar meal at his residence.

Asuquo Ekpenyong, who’s the senator representing the southern part of Cross River State, calls on Muslims to give unity and peace for development a chance as they used to.He also appreciates the leadership of the Muslim community in the state, specifically Calabar, which has been controlling peace among themselves and associating peacefully with cross-riverians. Indeed, Cross River State is known for peace, and the people of the north are seen to inhibit peace; therefore, let’s share such mandates among ourselves.

The Muslim community was led by the Leader of Hausa/Fulani and Muslim Communities in Cross River State, Sarki Alhaji Garba Lawal IV.

Representatives of the Muslim community with happiness speak with truth and love as they express gratitude for having His distinguished host them. Indeed, it’s a beautiful one of a kind.

The Muslim community assured him of his duty to maintain peace and harmony not just in Calabar but across the state metropolis. After a section of merriment and sharing of pleasantries, a photo section was observed as a form of memory and to show love to all.
