BB Babes Celebrate Rep. Bassey Akiba on His Birthday
Today, 12th December, marks another year to celebrate the remarkable and impactful life of Rep. Bassey Akiba. Since the beginning of 2023, he has been a pillar of support to the women’s wing and a true champion for his constituents. As we celebrate his birthday, we also celebrate his immense contributions to humanity and his unwavering commitment to the people.
Rep. Bassey Akiba is not just a representative who serves with words, but a hands-on leader who is actively engaged with the people he serves. Daily, he can be seen in the communities of Calabar Municipality and Odukpani, listening to the needs of the people, especially women, and working tirelessly to bring those needs to fruition. His presence and actions have proven that he does not view his constituency as a mere political duty, but as an extended family.
Since his tenure in service as the Member representing Calabar Municipal and Odukpani Local Government, Akiba has worked to improve the lives of the people by providing essential services, including free healthcare, empowerment programs, educational support, and much more. His vision transcends personal gain, as he continues to create opportunities for everyone in his constituency—both in Calabar Municipality and Odukpani Local Government.
