Bassey Otu and Bassey Akiba babes also known as BB Babes of calabar municipality and odukpani federal constituency headed by Hon Nkoyo Otu who serves as the DG of the group and also the special Adviser to the governor of cross river state on inter party affairs, began their ward tour to touch women of the calabar municipal LGA.
The women in these areas expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Otu and Rep. Bassey Akiba, the representative for the Odukpani/Calabar Municipal Federal Constituency, for bringing women together from across the constituency.
As part of the tour, Bassey Otu and Bassey Akiba babes provided gifts and various items to women from each ward, showing the support and care extended by the leaders. This initiative is set to cover 10 wards within Calabar Municipality, with a primary focus on women.
The purpose of the drive is to enlighten the women of the constituency about the love and deep interest their representatives have for each individual, reinforcing the commitment to their well-being and empowerment.
