Bowen University Establishes Panel to Investigate Student’s Murder

The management of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, has formed a three-member committee to collaborate with the police in identifying those responsible for the recent murder of a student.

According to the Osun State Police Command, detectives have launched an investigation into the fatal stabbing of Paul, a 200-level Computer Science student at Bowen University. The incident was reported to the Iwo Divisional Police Headquarters on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at approximately 10:55 PM by Akindoyo Joseph, the Chief Security Officer of the university.

Police spokesperson Yemisi Opalola confirmed the report, stating that the student was stabbed by unidentified individuals.
