CHIEF HON PETER AKPANKE CONSTITUENCY NEED ASSESSMENT TOUR BEGINS FROM BEKWARRA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

The member representing Obanliku/Obudu/Bekwarra in the Federal House of Reps Hon Chief Peter Akpanke today 19th June 2023 began a need assessment tour of his federal Constituency to consult with Religious Leaders, Traditional Rulers, stakeholders, youths, and, opinion molders.

The tour which began from Bekwarra Local Government Area availed the people and the MP needed a platform to interact and set a prosperity agenda for the constituency.

The House of Reps Member thanked the people of Bekwarra for their unwavering support in the last election and for gracing his Inauguration in Abuja. The MP said he decided to embark on this tour immediately after his Inauguration because he wants to represent the people with a framework designed in the interest of the constituents .

Chief Hon Peter Akpanke while speaking to the people said he was grateful to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the opportunity and support given to him. He said despite being elected from the platform of the PDP, he is now a House of Reps Member to everyone in the Constituency irrespective of their Party.

\”God has used all of you to elect me so that we can change the narratives together. One thing I can assure you all is that I will be a representative of the people and will leave no stone unturned to see that we drive down the dividends of Democracy to our Federal Constituency.\”

After gathering the needs from often wards of Bekwarra, the cha enges can be summarized into Electricity, Employment, Empowerment, and, infrastructural Development.

The state Auditor General of PDP Hon Adida Agabi who spoke on behalf of the people of Bekwarra thanked the MP for such an initiative and for coming home immediately after Inauguration to hear from his people. He assured him of support from the people of Bekwarra as they offer constant prayers for his success.
