The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Cross River State on International Development Corporation ,Mr CocoBassey Esu , celebrates his birthday in an orphanage home in Calabar. Coco-Bassey Esu in the company of friends and well-wishers paid a visit on the 20th of September, 2022 to the Orphanage Home, Uwanse, Calabar where he donated clothes, toiletries, drinks, food items, and other gift items to the management of the Orphanage home.
Coco-Bassey while addressing the children stated that the day brought him fulfillment to see the joy and happiness on the faces of the children. He expressed his gratitude to God for giving him the capacity to give to the children and put a smile on their faces. During the visit, he told friends and well-wishers that instead of throwing a lavish birthday party for friends, he found more happiness and inner joy in spending time with the children and giving the little he can to them.
Coco-Bassey Esu is notorious for his philanthropic gestures. He is a noiseless exemplification of compassion, selflessness, simplicity, and competence. He is a naturally endowed leader. Coco-Bassey used the opportunity to urge his friends to always invest in humanitarian services. According to Coco-Bassey, such outreaches are life-changing and make people, especially the less privileged, happy and give them a sense of belonging and in turn gives joy and fulfillment to the celebrant. Coco-Bassey thanked the management and children for their prayers and blessings and stated that it meant so much to him than wining and dining lavishly.
The high point of the celebration was the cutting of the birthday cake with the children. There was a beautiful rendition of melodious choruses and prayers by the children to the celebrant. The children and their caregivers expressed their profound appreciation for the gifts presented by the celebrant, Coco-Bassey Esu.
