The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was reportedly found along the Kubwa Expressway in Abuja.
Preliminary reports indicate that the incident may have involved personnel of a hotel, who allegedly moved and dumped the deceased’s body by the roadside after his death.
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death, including what happened at the hotel and why the body was allegedly transported to the expressway, remain unclear as investigators work to establish the facts.
Police investigators are expected to examine the hotel’s records, question staff and other persons who may have had contact with the deceased, and determine whether any criminal offence was committed.
The identity of the deceased and the specific hotel involved have not been independently confirmed in reliable reports available at the time of publication.
The development has raised concerns among residents, particularly over the circumstances leading to the discovery of the body along one of Abuja’s major highways.
