Among the most-searched personalities were Bobrisky, the popular social media influencer and cross-dresser; Betta Edu, a political figure known for her controversial statements; and Shallipopi, a fast-rising artist in Nigeria’s music scene. The trio dominated search queries, showcasing how Nigerians engaged with diverse areas of interest throughout the year.

Bobrisky remained a trending figure due to his bold persona and constant social media updates, which sparked discussions on gender identity and societal norms. Betta Edu’s political activities, particularly her policy positions and media appearances, placed her firmly in the spotlight.
