Prince Eka Williams Honorable Commissioner, Power & Renewable Energy, Cross River State represent The Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu at the commissioning ceremony of the Interconnected Mini grid Acceleration Scheme (IMAS) Project.
This significant event which had reps from The federal ministry of power, Rural Electrification Agency, GIZ, The German Coperation, Darway Coast Nig LTD, PHED, and other energy stakeholders, ETC, took place today in the communities of Abia, Agbokin, Bendeghe, and Etomi in Etung Local Government Area, where we proudly unveiled a combined capacity of 440kWp Solar Hybrid Mini Grid Project.
According to report communities in all 18LGA will have Free 24 hours light supply as Solar Panels will be installed in those communities
The above just launched communities will have 24hrs light supply as Extra generators has been provided to boost solar Battery capacity.
