Manchester United Stops Liverpool party

MAN UNITED STOPS LIVERPOOL\’S PARTY

Manchester United played a 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Old Trafford today to prevent the latter from going on top of the league.

Liverpool started the game very well with an early goal in the 23rd minute from Diaz in the first half. United were in shambles in the first half as they failed to produce an attempt on goal throughout the first 45 minutes.

In the second half, United slowly came back to the game. Bruno Fernandez leveled the scoreline in the 50th minute through a halfway volley. United went ahead through a beautiful finish from Kobbie Maino in the 67th minute. The 18-year-old converted his chance wonderfully to give the Red Devils the lead.

Egyptian Forward Mohammed Salah ensured the points were shared when he equalized to make it 2-2 in the 84th minute.

The result means Liverpool missed out on the opportunity to move to the summit of the EPL table. Erik Ten Hag\’s side will console themselves with the result after a disappointing match against Chelsea on Thursday.
