Media tussles in CRS between CHARLIEBAZ and Awade Friday (last Prophet )
This is to inform the public about the ongoing crisis between Awade Friday, known as the Last Prophet, and Oku Charles, also known as Charliebaz
This is an issue regarding the removal of Calabar comedians from his upcoming event, “Laftamania by the event organizer Awade Friday. He stated clearly that his reason for doing so is to keep people that are yet to be known to crossing Riverians and to take away the already-known comedians in the state.
This was the reason that a fight popped up between popular Oku Charles (Charliebaz) and Awade Friday (last Friday) after he (Charliebaz) noticed he was also part of the MC’s that was removed, including Koboko,biase pikin,bucket mouth, and Mc Owondo.
In a screenshot from Charliebaz Facebook page, he further stated “#ToWhomitMayConcern:
Excuse me, sir, if you’re scared of your so-called boy’s growth, you don’t deserve the accolades of being called a boss…

While on the Awade Friday Facebook page, he responded with pictures of when he carried Charliebaz and other state comedians on a show. In his caption, he stated, “Oku Charles Asu (Charliebaz)
Ordinarily, I won’t respond to your rant, but I want the world to know exactly why you are being disrespectful towards me.
This is how it happened…
After reviewing the performance list for my upcoming comedy show, Lafftamania TV, coming up on May 5th (my birthday), I and my team decided to review the performance list and downsize the number of comedians, which you were affected by after the cutdown.
Since then, you have been acting up as if it’s your right to be on my show year in and year out.
Guy, you have your event coming up on the 19th of May. Feel free not to add me to your performance because I won’t be available.
You even went as far as saying I went to pay for your billboard spot as if your placenta were buried there.
Whoever you are today, God used me to make you, so be a good boy and focus on your event.
