\”That in time of controversy, no honorable man stands on the fence\”, therefore in continuation of the massive support turning in for the Honourable Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu, and the need to showcase the necessity of protecting a decent and patriotic leader from the machinations of the mischief makers and disparate elements, the North Central Youths Parliament, have passed a Vote of Confidence on the performing Minister, Dr. Betta Edu.

At a press briefing by the association in Jos, the Plateau State Capital, the Speaker Comrade Jeremiah Friday Ohomah, expressed the group\’s satisfaction with the Minister\’s performance and cautioned her traducers to desist from distracting, maligning, and undermining acts that have gracious consequences not only on the persecuted but also on the body polity.
Furthermore, the Speaker, recommended that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should ignore calls from those corrupt elements who have been feeding fat on the shoddy activities within the Ministry and its Agencies.
Rather than persecution, the Minister is worthy of commendation for a show of courage to have exposed the N44BILLION fraud going on in the National Social Investment Programme Agency, NSIPA. And that those enemies of the country resorted to blackmailing and public manipulation for their selfish gains at the expense of the entire citizenry.
