Newly married Nigerian influencer, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has revealed what happened to the money sprayed on him during his wedding ceremony to fellow content creator Jarvis.
The 21-year-old influencer made the revelation during a recent livestream while discussing his marriage and finances with a caller.
Peller explained that the money collected during the wedding did not remain with him, saying he handed everything over to his wife.
“I see how much you spray on me. See, let me tell you something. Do you know all the money that was collected at my wedding is going to my wife? I give my wife everything,” Peller said.
The caller, however, suggested that the money belonging to his wife should also be considered Peller’s money since they are married.
“Yeah, your wife’s money is your money now,” the caller said.
Peller disagreed, insisting that he does not regard the money as his.
“No, it’s not my money. Look, look, look, in Nigeria, it’s not my money,” he responded.
Explaining his view of marriage, Peller said he considers himself and his wife as one, although he jokingly suggested that his wife may have a different perspective.
“For me, we are one. For her, we are two,” he said.
The revelation has since generated reactions online, with many fans commenting on the influencer’s approach to marriage, money and financial responsibility.
Peller and Jarvis recently got married in a lavish ceremony that attracted several celebrities, content creators and fans.
