Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, Cross River North Senatorial District take responsibility of suspended Councillors of Nkum Iborr and Nkum Irede

We have just received the news of the suspension of the two Councillors of Nkum Iborr and Nkum Irede, who are members of the PDP.

The Senator representing Cross River North has made available funds, for the payments of the monthly salaries of seven(7) Councillors, who refused to move to the APC, in Obanliku and Ogoja LGAs. The 1st tranche is a payment of 500k to each of the Councillors to cover a period of five(5) months. He has also asked his Lawyers to seek redress in Court on behalf of the Councillors.

The Distinguished Senator has also instructed his Lawyers to file a Case in Court, challenging the defection of all the Councillors and LG Chairmen, who defected from the PDP to the APC. We will test the letters of the Law, up to the Supreme Court. We are not in a Lawless Country. We will get Justice.

The Councillors are advised to remain calm and contact the Constituency Officer, Hon Egar Mgbantul for their Cheques immediately.
