Professor Aniebiet Inyang Ntui is to lead discussions at the United Nations Water Summit on Groundwater, taking place on 7-8 December 2022 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France. This was made known to the public through the official website of the UN Water Agency and the Summit App.
The summit will draw attention to the challenges and opportunities groundwater offers across all sectors, from industry and agriculture to ecosystem health and climate change. Pre-Summit side events will take place on 6th December 2022, the day before the Summit begins in which the Nobel Prize Nominee is scheduled to lead segments of the day’s events which relates to the sustainability of groundwater resources in Africa and the West Coast.
The 2022 UK Global Prize Winner lead deliberations during the Edu-Tech segments of the just concluded 27th Conference of Parties (COP) on Climate Change in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt and the Climate Change Discussions at the G20 Meeting in Bali, Indonesia.
