Verydarkman appeared today before the House of Representatives’ joint committee investigating serious allegations of corruption within the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service.

Also present at the hearing were Bobrisky’s legal representative, Averosoghene Omuvwie, as well as officials from the EFCC and the Nigerian Correctional Service.
However, during his appearance, Verydarkman declined to provide any statements, citing the absence of Bobrisky, who had also been summoned to appear before the committee. Speaking briefly, Verydarkman said, “Today, I will not say anything because an invitation was extended to both me and Bobrisky, but he is not here. I don’t see why I should be here while he is absent, so I will let my lawyer speak on my behalf.”
The committee continues its investigation into the allegations, with further hearings expected to take place in the coming days.
