UNICAL Resumption Date for 2024/2025 Announced
The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced the official resumption date for the commencement of the 2024/2025 academic session. According to a statement released by the Registrar, Mr. Gabriel Egbe, academic activities will begin on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Newly admitted students are expected to arrive on campus on the same day, October 11, 2024. The screening and registration process for new students, as well as the return of continuing students, will begin on Monday, October 14, 2024.
For returning students, registration will commence on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, while lectures for all students are set to begin on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
In addition, the orientation program for freshers is scheduled to take place from Thursday, October 24, 2024, to Friday, October 25, 2024.
The Provosts of the College of Medical Sciences and the School of Postgraduate Studies, along with Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments, have been instructed to ensure full compliance with the new academic calendar.
The Registrar, on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, warmly welcomes all members of the University community, particularly students, to the 2024/2025 academic session.
