– Recurrent Expenditure: N170 billion (34%)
This allocation underscores the government’s commitment to growth-oriented investments, with a significant 66% dedicated to capital projects aimed at long-term development.
Sectoral Allocations:
– Infrastructure: N100 billion
The largest allocation, focusing on improving roads, transportation networks, and urban development projects to drive economic activity and connectivity across the state.
– Education: N81 billion
Dedicated to upgrading school facilities, providing better resources for students, and implementing new educational initiatives to strengthen Cross River’s human capital.
