Cross River State Councilors Forum Congratulates Local Government Chairmen On One Year In Office

The Cross River State Councilors Forum has extended warm congratulations to all Local Government Chairmen across the 18 LGAs of the state as they mark their one year anniversary in office.

In a goodwill message signed by the Chairperson of the Cross River State Councilors Forum,  Hon. Magdalene Ekpe, the councilors commended the Chairmen for their dedication, visionary leadership, and remarkable achievements recorded so far in their various local government areas — from the Northern to the Central and Southern Senatorial Districts.

Hon. Ekpe praised the collective efforts of the Chairmen in promoting grassroots development, improving infrastructure, and enhancing the welfare of citizens across the state.

The Forum also expressed profound appreciation to the Governor of Cross River State, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, for his confidence in the Local Government leaders and for providing them with the enabling environment to deliver on their mandates under the People’s First administration.

The statement further urged all Council Chairmen to remain steadfast, accountable, and committed to the service of their people, assuring them of the Forum’s continued support and collaboration in advancing the development goals of the state.

“We are proud of your accomplishments so far and encourage you to sustain the momentum. Together, we can build a stronger, united, and prosperous Cross River State,” the statement added.
