In a strong demonstration of grassroots leadership and community connection, Chief Martha Agba PhD held separate but highly impactful Youth Town Hall Meetings with young people in Obanliku and Obudu Local Government Areas, reaffirming her unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and sustainable community development.
At the Obanliku engagement, which drew a large turnout of resilient and determined youths, participants described the meeting as timely and deeply meaningful. The interactive session created a rare opportunity for young people to openly express their concerns, pains, and aspirations. Many youths voiced dissatisfaction over what they described as prolonged neglect of the local government and its young population by past political office holders.
Speaking during the meeting, Youth Coordinator Comrade Kyrian Ananfukang commended Chief Agba for her consistent dedication to human development and appealed to her to leverage her influence to empower unemployed graduates and create opportunities for young people. Other speakers, including Comrade Benjamin Kayang Kanung and Comrade Eugene Keshe Hipekwen, praised her humanitarian interventions and urged her to sustain her engagement with the community, noting that such dialogue strengthens unity, inclusion, and development.
Similarly, the Obudu town hall witnessed an enthusiastic reception as youths described Chief Agba as a beacon of hope and a destiny helper whose empowerment initiatives continue to transform lives.
