Manchester City Secure Long-Term Future of Khusanov and Doku with New Contracts

Manchester City are continuing to secure the future of their squad, with Abduqodir Khusanov and Jeremy Doku set to sign new long-term contracts that will keep them at the club until June 2031.

Khusanov, who joined City from RC Lens, is expected to officially sign his new deal soon. The agreement includes a significant salary increase, rewarding the defender for his progress since arriving at the Etihad Stadium. The new contract extends his stay by five more years, underlining the club’s confidence in his long-term development.

Meanwhile, winger Jeremy Doku has already agreed all terms on his extension and signed the paperwork. An official announcement is expected shortly, with the Belgian international also committing to a new five-year deal that will keep him at Manchester City until June 2031.

Doku has become an important attacking option for Pep Guardiola’s side, impressing with his pace, creativity, and ability to beat defenders. His new contract reflects City’s belief that he will remain a key part of the club’s future.

The contract renewals for Khusanov and Doku come shortly after defender Joško Gvardiol also signed a new long-term agreement with the Premier League champions. The trio’s extensions highlight City’s strategy of tying down core players as they prepare for continued domestic and European success.

With these renewals, Manchester City are ensuring stability within the squad while rewarding players who are expected to play major roles in the club’s ambitions over the coming years.

Official announcements confirming both Khusanov’s and Doku’s new contracts are expected in the near future.
