Peller Reveals What Guests Faced Moments After Attending His Wedding.

Written by Mary Bassey

Popular TikTok content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has alleged that several guests at his traditional wedding were robbed of their mobile phones by suspected hoodlums outside the event venue in Lagos.

Speaking during a TikTok livestream on Monday, Peller said the thefts occurred while the wedding ceremony was in progress, leaving a number of his guests without their phones.

According to the social media personality, some affected guests reached out to him after the celebration to report that their devices had been snatched by suspected agberos gathered around the venue.

Peller disclosed that he has been compensating some of the victims by helping to replace their stolen phones, describing the unexpected expense as financially and emotionally draining.

“I’ve spent a significant amount replacing some of the stolen devices,” he said during the livestream, adding that he was exhausted by the situation.

The TikTok creator blamed the incident on suspected hoodlums who allegedly loitered around the wedding venue and targeted guests as they arrived or departed.

As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the police regarding the alleged thefts, and no arrests have been announced in connection with the incident.
