Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has arrived in Anambra State for an official visit, landing at the Chinua Achebe International Airport in Umueri on Thursday.
The First Lady was received at the airport by Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, and his wife, Dr Nonye Soludo, alongside other government officials and state leaders.
Senator Tinubu, who arrived with members of her delegation, was welcomed by the governor and his wife shortly after disembarking from the aircraft.
The officials exchanged pleasantries at the airport tarmac before the First Lady and her delegation proceeded with the scheduled activities for the visit.
Her arrival marks the beginning of an official engagement in the state, with the visit expected to feature meetings and other activities involving the First Lady and stakeholders in Anambra.
The Chinua Achebe International Airport, located in Umueri, Anambra East Local Government Area, has continued to serve as an important gateway for official and other high-profile visits to the state.
