March 4th is celebrated world wide every year as World Engineering Day(WED) and this year(2022) is themed: Build Back Wiser through Engineering the Future in accordance with STEM and Sustainable Development
ENGINEERING: Simply means a branch of science and technology concerned in the design, building and use of engines, machines and structures.
TECHNOLOGY: Is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes.
AN ENGINEER Is gotten from 2 words ENGINE which simply means a machine with movinv parts that convert power into motion. and ER is a Greek work which simply means a person involved in operating this machine called engine.
World Engineering Day offers an opportunity to highlight engineers and their achievement in our Modern World and improve public understanding of low engineering and technology are central.
This year marks the 160th birth anniversary of M. Visvesvaraya who was born on September 15 1861 I\’m the Middenahalli Village of Karnataka and the first engineering day was celebrated in 1968 when the Government of India honored him.
The first Engineer in the world is Inhotwo who\’s the oldest and earliest recorded Engineer in history also known by his name and achievement, most especially the builder of step pyramid at Saqquarach,Egypt probably about 2550 CE
The First lady Engineer is A Lalittha MIEE born 27th August 1919 and dies 12 October 1979 born in India.
Civil Engineering is known as the mother of Engineering because it\’s the first branch of Engineering followed by Mechanical Engineering which was the 2nd(King and godfather) associated with Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Food Engineering,PetroChemical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and lots more
Engineers are known to develop new technological solutions using design process and following their responsibilities such as: Defining problems, Conducting and navigating research, Analyzing Criteria, Finding and Analyzing solutions.

If you really want something you will find a way but if you don\’t you will find an excuse because life doesn\’t get easier, you just get stronger.
