The State Security Adviser South, Navy Commander, Amb. Patrick Odiong, was conferred with the life title of Nigerian Student Parliament Ambassador by the 7th Speaker of the Parliament, Hon. Idongesit Michael. This prestigious honor was bestowed upon him in recognition of his outstanding achievements, selfless service to humanity, and tireless efforts in promoting the development of youth and students.
In his acceptance speech, Amb. Odiong expressed his profound gratitude to the Nigerian Student Parliament for the honor bestowed upon him. He stated that he was humbled by the recognition and assured the students that he would continue to work tirelessly to promote good leadership and development among the youth. Amb. Odiong commended the students for their initiative and commitment to promoting leadership and development among their peers.
Amb. Odiong promised to partner with the student Parliament through His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Cross Rivers, Senator Prince Bassey Otu’s administration, on projects and programmes aimed at promoting the student/youth education and empowerment vision for the state. He assured the students that the partnership would yield tangible benefits and opportunities for the youth, and expressed his commitment to working together to achieve the Governor’s vision for the state’s development.
Amb. Odiong expressed his appreciation to Hon. Idongesit Michael and the entire Nigerian Student Parliament for the recognition. He reiterated his commitment to working with the students and the government to promote peace, security, and development in the state.
