CharlyBoy Reveals the One Question He Would Ask God

Written by Mary Bassey

Nigerian entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as CharlyBoy, has raised a thought-provoking question about the biblical story of Adam and Eve, questioning why God allowed the serpent to tempt them and why humanity continues to suffer because of their disobedience.

The veteran entertainer said that if he had the opportunity to meet God, one of the questions he would ask concerns the circumstances surrounding the temptation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

According to the question attributed to him, CharlyBoy wants to understand why the serpent was allowed to tempt the first humans, whose actions, according to the biblical account, led to the fall of humanity.

The story of Adam and Eve, recorded in the Book of Genesis, describes how the serpent persuaded Eve to eat fruit from the forbidden tree, after which Adam also ate it. Their disobedience led to their expulsion from the Garden of Eden and the consequences associated with humanity’s fall in Christian theology.

CharlyBoy’s question touches on a longstanding theological debate about free will, temptation, divine responsibility and why human beings experience suffering.

While Christian interpretations differ on these issues, the question raises a broader discussion about the relationship between God’s power, human choices and the consequences of disobedience.

His remarks are likely to prompt conversations among religious followers and critics alike about one of the most debated stories in the Bible.
