Buratai: Security Agencies Can Track Bandits, Kidnappers If They Are Determined
Former Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, has expressed doubts over claims that security agencies are unable to trace bandits and kidnappers despite their frequent online activities and public communications.
Buratai, who also served as Nigeria’s former ambassador to the Benin Republic, stated that security agencies possess the necessary capabilities to identify and track criminal elements who openly share videos and communicate from their hideouts.
According to him, with the available intelligence and technological resources, authorities can locate and apprehend such criminals if there is sufficient commitment and coordinated action by relevant security agencies.
