I am ignorant of the money law – Bobrisky

A few days ago, it was reported that a popular crossdresser and social media activist was arraigned by the EFCC for money mutilation that amounted to #490,000. This is due to multiple attempts of the same law occurring four times.

After charges were read to him, Bobrisky pleaded for a second chance to never fall under this law again.

I have never known such a law existed, and I mean it to make a change. Bobrisky said

I am a popular person on social media with over millions of followers, and I promise to use my medium to educate not just Nigerians but the entire world on money laws.

Counsel for defendant Ayo Olumofin pleaded on behalf of Bobrisky, saying that he’s a first-time offender and that the court should temper justice with mercy.

The court adjudicated the sitting to Tuesday, April 9th, but Bobrisky should be under EFCC custody.
