The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has unveiled its court schedule for corruption-related cases set to be heard across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and six states between Monday, July 13, and Friday, July 17, 2026.
According to the commission’s weekly cause list released on its verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday, the cases are at different stages of prosecution and will be heard in various courts across the country.
The scheduled proceedings include fresh arraignments, continuation of ongoing trials, hearings, adoption of final written addresses, and delivery of judgments in several corruption cases being prosecuted by the anti-graft agency.
The court sittings are expected to begin on Monday with a case before the FCT High Court in Gwagwalada, while additional matters have been scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in courts located across the affected states.
Although the commission did not disclose full details of the individual cases in its announcement, the publication of the weekly cause list forms part of ICPC’s commitment to transparency and keeping the public informed about its anti-corruption activities.
The ICPC has consistently maintained that it remains committed to investigating and prosecuting corruption cases in line with its mandate to promote accountability, transparency, and integrity in public service.
As the hearings commence this week, attention will be on the various courts handling the cases, with outcomes expected to contribute to Nigeria’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the fight against corruption.
