Jürgen Klopp Introduces Strict Rules for German National Team
Jürgen Klopp has reportedly introduced a set of strict rules for the German national team as he looks to establish greater discipline and focus within the squad.
According to Bild, players will now be expected to follow several clear guidelines while on international duty, particularly during major tournaments.
One of the new rules concerns meal times, with all players required to be at dinner by either 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. The measure is intended to ensure the squad follows a structured daily routine.
Klopp has also reportedly introduced a ban on phones before matches. Instead of players being on their devices, conversations between teammates will be encouraged as the team prepares for games.
Another rule will see players banned from getting haircuts at the team hotel, adding another restriction to the squad’s activities while together.
Family visits will also be limited during major tournaments, although exceptions will reportedly be made in certain circumstances.
The rules reflect Klopp’s reported approach to creating a more disciplined team environment, with greater emphasis on togetherness, communication and concentration during international competitions.
The German national team will now be expected to adapt to Klopp’s new standards as preparations continue under his leadership.
