A Lagos Magistrate’s Court has remanded Shoyemi Damilola Titilayo at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre over allegations involving the widow of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, and her minor son.
Shoyemi was arraigned before Magistrate A.I. Alaka at Magistrate Court 111, Birrel Avenue, Onike, Yaba, Lagos, on a five-count charge.
Although the court granted her bail, she was ordered to remain in custody pending the fulfilment of the conditions.
The court required two sureties in the sum of N500,000 each, alongside proof of Lagos residence and updated tax clearance certificates covering three years.
According to prosecutor Irorere Osas, the alleged offences occurred between August 2025 and March 2026 along the Lagos-Sango Road, with other suspects allegedly still at large.
The charges include alleged conspiracy to disturb public peace and an alleged TikTok Live broadcast accusing Cynthia of murdering Mohbad.
The prosecution also alleged that Shoyemi used the broadcast to call on members of the public to subject Cynthia and her son, Liam Aloba, to jungle justice.
Another count accuses her of allegedly encouraging the public to commit offences against the pair, while the fifth charge concerns an alleged recorded threat to kill Cynthia and her son.
Shoyemi was arrested on Tuesday and will remain in custody until she fulfils the bail conditions.
The allegations have not been proven in court, and Shoyemi remains presumed innocent unless found guilty by a competent court.
