Fellow Youths of Cross River State,
I am filled with humility and gratitude as I reflect on the support and encouragement I received during my four-year tenure as State Youth Chairman.
My heartfelt appreciation goes to His Excellency, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State,
who has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to youth inclusiveness through the
appointment of young individuals to his cabinet.
I also extend my gratitude to my supervisory ministry, led by the dynamic and proactive Commissioner, Barr. Odum Ijom Esq., who has shown unwavering stability and steadfastness.
Thank you, Your Excellency, and our youthful Commissioner, for the opportunity to serve. We are grateful and blessed to have had this experience.
To H.E. Prof. Ben Ayade, your leadership provided a platform for growth, and I am thankful for the opportunities I enjoyed during my tenure. May God bless you richly.
As I move on to new responsibilities, I acknowledge that the experiences and opportunities I had may not have been perfect, but we did our best. Posterity will not forgive me if I fail to express my gratitude to my team of dedicated individuals, from my Deputy to the entire National Youth Council of Nigeria. You are all exceptional, and I wish our paths will continue to cross.
To the Coordinators of our 18 LGAs, I will miss your dedication and commitment. I urge you to extend the same support to my successor. We are all Cross Riverians, united in our pursuit of progress.
The mantra \”Cross River First\” and \”People First\” resonates deeply, as embodied by H.E. Prince Otu\’s administration.
To every young Cross Riverian across the state, your cooperation made this journey a remarkable experience.
Lastly, I am indebted to Dr. (Mrs.) Kwita Dan Obo, whose sacrifices have been invaluable to my success as Chairman of NYCN Cross River State Chapter. Our two sons will forever be a reminder of my gratitude.
We remain committed to supporting the Government of Cross River State and upholding the integrity of our young people.
