PDP Adhoc Delegates; Excitement In Sen. Gershom Bassey’s Camp.
Excitement in the air as PDP stakeholders across the three Senatorial Districts in the State stormed the campaign office of Sen. Gershom Bassey over the successful PDP ADHOC delegates election. From the political calculation of critical stakeholders, Sen. Gershom Bassey has been able to secure 100% support of the delegates from 5 Local Government Areas and 70% of delegates from Biase. In the Central Senatorial District, he has an estimated coverage of 70- 80% of delegates. In Abi, Yakurr, Obubra, Boki, and Ikom, he had an overwhelming victory except for Etung where he was rated 20%.
In the North, from the list sighted, Sen. Gershom secured more than 80% of delegates from the District. It is evident that the masses and critical stakeholders in the State and beyond are solidly backing the aspirations of the Distinguished Senator. Mr. John Upah started that the issues of delegates are not a mere social media war but the ability for one to get the hearts of many by good deeds. Without making any noise, many past leaders and stakeholders from the North have been keen on protecting the interest of Sen. Gershom Bassey to lead the party to victory.
Party stakeholders from Central and Northern Senatorial Districts said that: Truth has finally prevailed over lies and pretense. They stated this in a separate interview. According to Okon Effiom, Sen. Gershom has contacts across the state and nation and such a person shouldn\’t be undermined despite his calm personality and demeanor. They also described him as quiet, calculative and that Cross Riverians would see his works more than they would hear his voice just as he did as Cross River Water Board boss and as sitting Senator representing Cross River South.
We are proud of him!
Cheers to new frontiers to a potential victory!.
