He shared this empowering message during a recent interactive session with young people.

This session was held in Onitsha, Anambra State, organized by the Faithspiration Initiative.

About Peter obi.

He was the Governor of Anambra State under President Olusegun Obasanjo from 17 March 2006 to 3 November 2006, when he was impeached.

Success is a Result of Commitment, Not Background

During the session, Obi emphasized to the youths that success in life is not determined by one’s background.

Rather by a steadfast commitment to doing the right things and working diligently to achieve one’s goals. He shared his own life story, recounting how, despite being born and raised in Onitsha, success was not easily attained.

Obi highlighted that, like many of them, he too faced numerous challenges but overcame them through perseverance, hard work, and discipline.

No Shortcuts to Success

“There is no shortcut to success,” Obi said.

Stressing that what truly matters is not where one comes from, but how determined they are to put in the effort and make the right choices.

His message resonated deeply with the youth, encouraging them to stay focused on their aspirations.
