The Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Mobilization in Cross River State Comr.. has commenced the inauguration of youths, beginning with representatives from Yakurr and Obubra Local Government Areas (LGAs). This initiative is part of the governor’s plan to engage youths across the state.
According to a report by Calabargist correspondent, a list of selected youths from all the wards in Yakurr and Obubra LGAs was shared. The Special Adviser explained that the selection process involved young individuals who are aligned with the governor’s vision. Each ward in Yakurr and Obubra is represented by a single youth, tasked with serving as the voice of their community.
Speaking during the inauguration, the Special Adviser, Dan Obo, emphasized that this initiative is just the beginning. He assured that the exercise will be extended to all 18 local governments across the state, ensuring comprehensive youth representation.
Below are the youth representatives selected from Obubra LGA, each chosen from their respective wards:
