THE EVOLUTION OF MONEY:(The journey thus far, and where we are today)

Ever heard the saying \”Money makes the world go round\”? Well, that seems to be the case throughout human history, even in the development of human civilization and economies, and to obtain the things we want and need, MONEY is KEY. The evolution of money has brought us to where we are today..
From the barter system where societies used TRADE BY BARTER as a means to attaining goods and services. I think we all know the story.

As battering was difficult to trade, there came COMMODITY MONEY; where goods like cocoa beans , tea ,tobacco ,salt , seashells and cowries slowly took the function of money.

And the METALLIC MONEY; as societies and economies evolved and grew, they found better ways to facilitate their transactions,
Metals such as gold, silver, and copper were used instead of commodity money.
Commodity money was later switched to coinage allowing value to be associated with each type of coin for a more convenient payment system.

And then there was PAPER MONEY; the [ fiat ] system an centralization which is now backed by government decree and regulations on issuance.

And now we\’re in the decentralized DIGITAL MONEY era, the Crypto generation where users/holders are full custodians of their asset(s), without the pries and control by the government.
