Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has extended warm congratulations to the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, as the revered traditional ruler marked his 65th birthday.
The governor’s message was conveyed in a statement released on Friday by his spokesperson, Sunusi DawakinTofa, who praised the Emir’s enduring contributions to Kano State and Nigeria.
Governor Yusuf described Emir Sanusi as a visionary leader whose wisdom, courage, and unwavering commitment to justice have earned him admiration across generations. He noted that the monarch’s influence extends beyond traditional leadership into education, economic reforms, public policy, and national development.
According to the statement, the governor commended the Emir’s dedication to preserving Kano’s rich cultural and Islamic heritage while continuing to advocate for good governance, social progress, and the empowerment of citizens.
Governor Yusuf also prayed for the monarch’s continued good health, long life, and wisdom, expressing hope that his leadership would continue to promote peace, unity, and sustainable development in Kano State and beyond.
