Veteran Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has revealed that he once received payment to participate in a staged church miracle service by pretending to have a physical disability.

Solade made the disclosure during an interview Online on Wednesday.

The actor recounted that the incident occurred while he was still a student and had not yet gained recognition in the Nigerian film industry.

According to Solade, he was approached and recruited to act as a cripple during the church service as part of the staged miracle.

He disclosed that he accepted the offer and was paid for his participation.

The veteran actor’s revelation sheds light on an experience from the early stage of his life, long before he became a recognised figure in Nollywood.

Solade has enjoyed a long career in the Nigerian entertainment industry, featuring in numerous films and television productions over the years.
