The Founder of WHEN Initiative Foundation, Dr. Martha Agba, is set to flag-off the provision of small-scale business grants for youths and women in Cross River State. The initiative, organized under WHEN foundation titled Project Roots Rural Outreach for Opportunities Strengths and Transformation, is in collaboration with the Cross River Microfinance Bank Ltd.

The event, which will take place on Thursday, 28th August 2025 at Radiant Crest Hall, Obudu, is scheduled to commence at 12:00 noon.
Speaking ahead of the event, Dr. Martha Agba reaffirmed her commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs and women in business, stressing that the grants would provide a lifeline for small-scale enterprises to thrive, thereby boosting local economies and reducing unemployment.
Also expected at the flag-off is Weyinmi Eribo, the Director General of the Women Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (WCCIMA), who will lend her expertise and support to the program.
The empowerment project aims to promote entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and grassroots economic development across Cross River State, ensuring that women and youths are equipped with the resources to pursue sustainable businesses.
