APC Reveals Tinubu’s Position on Nigeria’s Electricity Crisis

Written by Mary Bassey

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reaffirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to achieving stable and reliable electricity supply across Nigeria.

The ruling party said the President remains focused on improving the country’s power sector, addressing electricity challenges and ensuring Nigerians have access to more consistent power supply.

The position comes amid continued concerns over electricity shortages, frequent power outages and the impact of unreliable electricity on households, businesses and industries.

The Tinubu administration has repeatedly highlighted power sector reforms and efforts to improve electricity generation, transmission and distribution as part of its broader agenda to strengthen the Nigerian economy.

However, Nigerians continue to expect concrete improvements in electricity supply, with many calling for lasting solutions to the challenges facing the sector.

The APC maintained that stable electricity remains part of the President’s priorities as his administration continues its efforts to improve the country’s power sector.
