Aston Villa Agree Deal to Sign Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea

Aston Villa have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign winger Alejandro Garnacho in a deal that is expected to strengthen Unai Emery’s attacking options ahead of the new season.

The agreement has been completed on an initial loan, with a mandatory purchase clause set to take effect in June 2028. Villa will also take full responsibility for Garnacho’s wages during the loan spell before making the move permanent.

The transfer marks a significant addition for Aston Villa, with manager Unai Emery identified as a strong admirer of the Argentine international. Emery is believed to have pushed for the move as he continues to build a squad capable of competing in both domestic and European competitions.

Garnacho, known for his pace, creativity, and direct style of play, is expected to add depth and quality to Villa’s attacking unit. The 22-year-old has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most exciting young forwards and will now have the opportunity to play a central role under Emery.

The structured agreement benefits both clubs, allowing Aston Villa to spread the financial commitment while securing one of England’s most highly rated attacking talents. Chelsea, meanwhile, have agreed to the arrangement as part of their ongoing squad planning.

With the deal now agreed, Garnacho is expected to complete the necessary formalities before officially joining Aston Villa. His arrival is likely to excite Villa supporters as the club continues to strengthen its squad with ambitious signings.

The move represents another major statement of intent from Aston Villa, who remain determined to challenge among the Premier League’s top clubs under Emery’s leadership.
