Bayer Leverkusen Agree €30m Deal to Sign Miguel Gutiérrez from Napoli

Bayer Leverkusen have reached an agreement to sign Spanish left-back Miguel Gutiérrez from Napoli in a deal worth €30 million.

The 25-year-old will join the Bundesliga club on a permanent transfer as Bayer Leverkusen move quickly to strengthen their squad following the departure of Alejandro Grimaldo. Gutiérrez has been identified as the ideal replacement, with the club confident that his attacking quality, technical ability, and defensive reliability make him a perfect fit for their style of play.

Leverkusen acted decisively to secure the signing, beating interest from other clubs to land the Spanish defender. The deal is now agreed, with only the final formalities remaining before the transfer is officially announced.

Gutiérrez enjoyed a productive spell at Napoli, where he established himself as one of the league’s most consistent full-backs. His ability to contribute in attack while maintaining defensive discipline made him a key player, and those qualities are expected to strengthen Leverkusen’s left flank ahead of the new season.

The move marks another significant piece of business for Bayer Leverkusen as they continue reshaping their squad with experienced and technically gifted players capable of competing at the highest level in both the Bundesliga and European competitions.

An official announcement is expected once the remaining paperwork and medical procedures are completed, confirming Miguel Gutiérrez as Bayer Leverkusen’s newest signing.
