The African Union Anti-corruption Day was marked in Nigeria, West Africa, by the leadership and management of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission of Nigeria, (EFCC).
Speaking during the rally in Abuja,the Special Envoy to West Africa International Human Rights Protection Service, Amb. Charles Omini, comment the Economic and Financial Crime Commission of Nigeria on the fight against corruption and economic violations in the country and the entire sub-region.
Omini, who stressed the need that the economic rights of Africa have been denied as a result of corruption in the sub-Saharan region. He continues by stressing the need for accountability, transparency in governance, and the need for law enforcement agencies to carry out their duties, as well as justice to be served to corrupt leaders in government.

Omini pledged the total and Continuous support of the IHRPS to the EFCC to end Corruption which is the violation of the economic rights of citizens within the West African Sub Region
Those attendance include the Chief of Defence Staff ,the CG Nigerian Security and Civil Service Corps the National Youths Service Corps,The Nigerian Police force ,the Nigeria Immigration,the Nigerian Labour Congress NLC and the Civil Society Organizations
