Cross River State Consultative Forum Hails Eyo Nsa Ekpo’s Appointment as APC Presidential Campaign Council Secretary for South-South
The Cross River State Consultative Forum (CRSCF) has congratulated its Chairman, Hon. Barr. Eyo Nsa Ekpo, on his reported appointment as Secretary, Contact and Mobilisation, South-South, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The forum described the appointment as a recognition of the South-South region’s strategic political importance and an indication of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to inclusive leadership.
According to the CRSCF, Ekpo’s appointment places him in a position to support political engagement and mobilisation across the six states of the South-South region: Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo and Rivers.
CRSCF Expresses Confidence in Ekpo’s Leadership
The forum expressed confidence in Ekpo’s ability to discharge his responsibilities with integrity and competence, particularly in coordinating engagement with stakeholders and grassroots political structures across the region.
In its congratulatory message, the CRSCF said it looked forward to working with Ekpo and other stakeholders towards achieving the APC’s objectives in the 2027 elections.
The forum also extended its congratulations to the Cross River-born political leader, wishing him success in his new assignment.
The appointment, as described by the forum, is expected to strengthen engagement and mobilisation efforts across the South-South as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to develop.
