Federal Government Announces Plan to Centralize Salary Payment for All Nigerian Civil Servants
The Federal Government has announced a new initiative to take over the payment of salaries for all Nigerian civil servants, including state and local government workers. This move aims to streamline the payment process, promote transparency, and ensure timely remittance of salaries.
As part of this reform, all Nigerian workers will now be referred to as Nigerian Civil Servants, and all state, local government, and federal government employees will be enrolled in the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).
