MTN CHAMPS Season 2 held her press conference at the Metropolitan Hotel Calabar.

The conference was aimed at enlightening the public about the forthcoming sports competition happening live at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar.
Starting 30th April to 3rd May 2024.
It was an interactive experience between delegates from the state government officials, sponsors,MTN staff, and the media.

Questions and answers were provided by media correspondents to officials from MTN and state executives on the impact of the event on cross-riverians

The commissioner for sport and development, Hon. Agnes Atsu, ensures maximum cooperation with MTN,ensuring Cross-Riverians. This is just a tip for sports exposure.
Hon. Ekpenyong Ekanem SA to the Governor of Sport, appreciates the MTN team for seeing Cross River worthy of the Grand Finale. Indeed, Calabar is a safe place for sport, and the ministry is open to more collaboration on sport growth.

Mr. Augustine Odey, Director of Administration, Ministry of Education, who’s humbly representing the Commissioner for Education Sen. Stephen Odey,welcomed the team and ensured Maximum capacity from the state.
Also,the permanent secretary to the ministry of sport, Mr. Samuel Egbala, was present, Mr Ojoi Ekpenyong DG tourism CRS.

Bambo Akani, who’s the founder of MOC (Making of Champs), reassured Cross Riverians of a bigger dream for the brand; he made mention of enhancing a bigger competition beyond Nigeria to outside the country.

Other staff from MTN spoke with enthusiasm and great support for seeing this brand go bigger as well as grooming Nigerian youths to become great leaders and ambassadors through these activities.

In attendance were Shoyinka Shodunke, Chief Information Officer, MTN Nig.; Adia Sowho, Chief Marketing Officer, Emamoke Ogoro, GM Brand Communications and Marketing Division; Callima Inino, Regional Operations, East Sales and Distribution; and Pastor Emmanuel Ebong, Vice President, National School Sport Federation.
