Late Major General Abubakar Rabe (rtd), who tragically passed away two weeks after being abducted by suspected bandits, has been laid to rest in Katsina State.
The retired senior military officer was buried in accordance with Islamic rites during a solemn ceremony attended by family members, senior military personnel, government officials, and sympathisers.
Mourners described the burial as a deeply emotional occasion, paying tribute to the late general’s service to the nation while expressing sorrow over the circumstances surrounding his death.
The event drew residents from within and outside Katsina, who gathered to offer prayers and condolences to the bereaved family.
