Fresh Rashford Transfer Claim Sparks New Twist

Written by Mary Bassey

Fresh reports surrounding Marcus Rashford’s future have taken a new turn after transfer expert Fabrizio Romano dismissed speculation linking the Manchester United forward with a move to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr.

In recent days, rumours claimed Al-Nassr were preparing an offer for the England international, fueling talk of a potential reunion with former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.

However, Romano has poured cold water on the speculation. Speaking on his YouTube channel on Wednesday, the Italian transfer journalist said there is no truth to the reports, stressing that Al-Nassr are not currently working on a deal to sign Rashford.

The 28-year-old has remained the subject of transfer speculation following the end of his loan spell at Barcelona. While his long-term future at Old Trafford is yet to be officially clarified, several clubs have continued to monitor his situation during the summer transfer window.

Romano’s latest update indicates that, despite widespread reports, Rashford is not close to joining Al-Nassr, and there are no ongoing negotiations between the Saudi club and Manchester United over a transfer.

For now, Rashford remains a Manchester United player, with his next move still uncertain as the summer transfer window continues.
